About Chelsie

Stressed, overwhelmed, or just over life? Let’s talk it out — and then fix it together!

Hi, I’m Chelsie and I’ve spent the last decade helping kids, teens and adults navigate life’s curveballs — from anxiety and ADHD to big transitions, trauma, and everything in between. I am especially passionate about working with neurodivergent individuals, and it has been a privilege to support them in navigating their unique challenges and strengths.

My approach is warm, supportive, and collaborative. I believe therapy should feel like a safe space to be real —no judgment and no pressure to have it all figured out. Whether you’re struggling with stress, relationships, grief, substance use, or just feel a little “off,” I’m here to help you reconnect with your strengths and move toward the life you want. Beyond that, I am flexible with my options to help you. To support your needs, we can meet in-person, over the phone, or virtually.

I use a mix of tools tailored to you — not a one-size-fits-all approach. Depending on your needs, we might pull from cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused techniques, person-centered work, dialectical behavioral therapy skills, play therapy, and more. My job is to meet you where you are and help you get where you want to go — with compassion, coping strategies, and maybe a little peace of mind along the way. I’ve worked in inpatient units, outpatient clinics, schools, and group homes - learning firsthand that people are incredibly resilient, and that compassion and patience can make all the difference.

When I’m not in session, I’m usually chasing my three kids around, reading, planning our next family trip, or learning something new. I received my Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University in 2017. Additionally, I am currently licensed in Illinois as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC).

Therapy doesn’t have to feel intimidating. It’s a conversation — one that can help you heal, grow, and get back to being the best version of you.
